Whether you're writing a will for the first time or just need to make some updates, it’s quick, secure, and can be done from the comfort of your home.

An update on our financial situation

A message from Gavin Atkins, Executive Director of Services and Support

Firstly, I’d like to thank you for your ongoing commitment to the MS community.

Volunteers play a huge role in everything we do, so I wanted to give you an update on our financial situation.

Announcing our new supplier of contactless devices

Thanks to everyone who joined us for Volunteer Voice in July, where we revealed that our new supplier of contactless devices will be Give a Little.

We’re delighted to finally have a definite answer to share with you. But, tempting though it may be, please don’t rush off and buy anything. We’ve secured much better rates for our groups if you do it through us, so wait for more information!

Project Mead update

On Tuesday 22 July, our Executive Director for Services and Support, Gavin Atkins, gave an update on all things Project Mead, including some exciting news about what we’re going to call our newly transformed services. He also spoke about some of the changes and support for volunteers coming with Project Mead next year.

If you weren’t able to join us for Volunteer Voice, you can watch the video recording of Gavin’s update here:

The NHS 10-year plan – what does it mean for people with MS?

You might’ve heard about Change NHS, which launched late last year. It was a consultation described as “the biggest ever conversation” about the future of the NHS in England.

We encouraged our community to get involved, and we submitted a response. We made policy recommendations that’d support people with MS to get the right care at the right time, no matter who they are, where they live or their circumstances.

Step into Action – My MS Walk Is Here!

Ready to take a step towards stopping MS? My MS Walk is your chance to make strides – literally – in the fight to stop multiple sclerosis. Whether you walk, roll, or stroll, you can do it your way, at your own pace, in your favourite place. It’s free to sign up, and every single step helps drive forward the MS treatment revolution.

What is My MS Walk?

My MS Walk is a virtual event that challenges you to complete a walk of any distance, at your own pace, at any location you like.

Living with MS in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales

Did you know we have colleagues based in each of the devolved nations who can help you tell your MS story?

Have you ever read a newspaper article about a person’s MS journey and felt you’d like to share your experiences too?

Perhaps you’ve been inspired by the community blogs on our website and would love to write about your own route to diagnosis, or the unique way you manage an unusual symptom.

New EEDI resources and policy

We’re pleased to share our updated Equity, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policy (EEDI) with you. You can find it here, on our new EEDI page. There, we’ve pulled together all our key EEDI resources, plus other interesting reads, watches and listens. Whether you want to browse our latest initiatives or find tips on making your volunteering activities more accessible and inclusive, you can find everything you need in one place.
