If you’re employed (including self-employed) and would like up to 10 hours of tailored support relating to work-related difficulties, you might like to apply for the MS Work Hub study.

Last week, we nervously waited for the outcome of the second reading of the UK Government’s Welfare Bill. But the government made the right call by scrapping the proposed harmful changes to Personal Independence Payments (PIP). This was a huge relief for many of us.
When the volunteer Portal reached the end of its life last year, groups lost direct access to their contact lists. Since then, your group’s had to request contact information by contacting the Volunteer Support Team.
We’re very pleased that we can now introduce the new process that restores direct access to this information. Apologies once more that it’s taken us this long to get a working solution in place. We realise how frustrating this has been and thank you for your patience.

Over the last few months we’ve been telling you about Project Mead, a transformation project improving our services to help everyone affected by MS.
In our project update last month, we told you about our new ‘Hub model’. Our Hub will be a virtual space where you can access up-to-date information about MS and find everything you need to know about our UK-wide services and local services all in one place.

MS Society Cymru is thrilled to announce that the Breathing Space Project has been extended for another year.
Every unpaid carer deserves recognition and a break to support their wellbeing. The Breathing Space Project provides short breaks for unpaid carers in Wales.
Someone can attend a break by themselves or bring along a friend. The project also organises group activities across Wales, which gives the MS community and unpaid carers a chance to come together and enjoy themselves.
